Kate Stafford, Sue Moore and colleagues recently discovered that the Arctic Bowhead whales between Greenland and Norway have a complex repertoire of songs they sing throughout the winter.
Their underwater world remains such a mystery to humanity and yet we continue to destroy the whales’ environment. Underwater noise causes so much misery to these beautiful creatures.
